Paradise Now

My parents always say "curiosity killed the cat" and I reply " I am not a cat"!

For people who are curious about the movie "Paradise Now":

The internationally-acclaimed, Oscar-nominated film "Paradise Now" will be screened this Thursday, March 30th, at 8pm in Sidney Smith Hall (100 St. George Street), room 2102.

The controversial and intriguing film chronicles the last days in the lives of two Palestinian childhood friends who have been recruited as suicide bombers. Over the course of twenty-seven hours, the young men prepare themselves for the mission. For Said and Khaled, everyday life comes to an abrupt end when they are contacted by the guerrilla group to which they both belong and begin the process of taking their leave of family and friends.
