Public Transit

It's Friday and my brain can't focus any farther than my nose!

Did you ever think why they put seats on busses and trains? How come they don't just install lots of poles for people to hold on to? That way trains, planes and busses, even cars would have been able to hold more people!

The answer is that any mode of transportation our ancestors used, be it camel, donkey or horse, they always sat during the journey. So, since the beginning of time, people always associated traveling (and transportation) with sitting.

Now you're being too brainy, another Friday effect I guess!

Maybe poles could be fitted on donkeys backs (or other places) so people could ride them standing up. In that way, sitting in the planes, trains and automobiles would have never initiated and more people could use them at the same time.

I'd personally prefer to lie down in the train and take up the space 5 other people could use rather than sticking a pole up a poor donkey's arse!!!

Loved this post! :))))
I am feeling the same! It's so hard to focus today! Why not think about more important stuff? :P

I love it that you talk about almost everything on your blog :))) Shows how diverse you are!

Speaking of differnt matters, have you ever thought about why the cover door of waste darins over the streets has a circular shape?

Yeah hon.

Think about it. Any other shape (rectagular, oval) makes it possible for the lid to fall into the manhole. Circular is the only one that prevents this :)
