Destination: Ottawa
Mona is currently in Ottawa, attending another conference on security, criminology, policing, etc. I told her she should finish the police academy and become a detective! That would so cool!
Anyhow, since I needed a vacation, I am going to join her for the weekend. I will fly to ottawa on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday night.
We haven't figured out what we would like to do, but I know every day there is skating program on Rideau River, there are a couple of museums and plays that we can go to.
We may also go and watch Parliament Hill before the Conservatives take it over! :-)

i hope it'll be bright and nice up in ottawa... london's been really rubbish this week, dark and miserable; i guess i can touch the clouds from here
Well, I would say it will nice and bright with gusts of very very cold wind! That's how it is in Ontario right now!
You can never predict the weather here. Perhaps only 5, 6 hours ahead of time.
They say it might snow big time on the weekend. We will see. The upside of that is that if it snows, the tempretures won't go below 0 or -5.
Sometimes it's bright and sunny and the temperature of the wind is -25 C.
i'm not quite sure about a -25, i've never felt it.. while complaining about London I should say that it's been quite mild, 10-12 degrees ;)
