The Whole Love Dilemma

I thought a lot about what Leili said yesterday: we should be able to love ourselves, etc.

Leili is right. In the ideal world, you should be able to love yourself, motivate yourself, make yourself happy and not need someone else.

But in this less-than-ideal world, we like to be hugged, kissed, comforted and told that we are worthy of happiness. Plus, it is not all mental, but also physical:

People in loving relationships are healthier and happier

Up to a certain age we get all that affection from our parents but after that, nature forces us towards the opposite sex for procreation purposes.

See? It is not me, it is nature that is causing all these silly love problems!

thanks Bahar for thinking about my comment. I'm flattered.

what I mean is that love cannot come with need. only a self-sufficient, strong, kind and happy person can really love someone else. other than that is just people using and abusing each other.

maybe ... to some extent at least!
we should remember this while dealing with others, that maybe the problem is not in the relationship, but within ourselves!
